If you’re considering booking a boudoir photoshoot, one of your first questions might be, “How much does boudoir photography cost?” At Backroom Boudoir, located in the heart of Los Angeles, California, we’re here to demystify the pricing and help you understand what you’re investing in. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, gifting your partner, or embracing self-love, a boudoir session is a powerful and rewarding experience worth every penny.

Factors That Influence the Cost of Boudoir Photography

Boudoir photography isn’t just about taking photos—it’s about creating an unforgettable experience that leaves you feeling empowered and radiant. Here are the key factors that influence pricing:

  1. Session Length and Customization
Some clients prefer short and sweet mini-sessions, while others want a full afternoon of pampering and multiple outfit changes. Longer sessions with more customization options typically come with a higher price point.

  2. Professional Hair and Makeup
At Backroom Boudoir, we believe in treating you like the star you are. We are lucky to live in Los Angeles and work with some extremely talented hair and makeup artists who also work in film and television when they’re not in our studio. If you want to save money you can always DIY your hair and makeup, but I always recommend leaving it up to the professionals to save yourself the stress.

  3. Studio Location and Amenities
Being based in Los Angeles, our studio offers a luxury experience with thoughtfully curated sets and props that add a special touch to your session.

  4. Photo Editing and Retouching
The time spent carefully editing and retouching your images is a big part of what makes boudoir photography so unique. High-quality post-production ensures that your final photos are flawless.

  5. Products and Prints
Whether you want a stunning keepsake album, wall art, or digital images, the type of products you choose will impact the overall cost of your session.
